Today, a New Journey Begins- Letzrise is excited to partner with FLOYYD—an independent face-to-face sales & marketing agency—to launch our capacity-building program for their business development executives and leaders. The first module focused on a simple but powerful idea: the work you do in the field is also the fastest track to your personal dreams and career vision.
Setting the Tone: Vision First- We opened with an exercise where every participant—from FLOYYD’s founders to support staff—wrote down their personal vision and built a simple vision board. This intentional start grounded the day in purpose and clarity. In total, 21 participants joined the session and rated it an average of 8.8/10—sharing that they were “learning something new” throughout.
Why Field Work = Fast Growth-Field work gives you real people and real feedback every single day. You learn to sell, serve, and solve problems. You build discipline, confidence, and networks—all the ingredients of accelerated growth. Our session translated these into a practical 0–2 year roadmap so every BDE can move from first client visit to leading teams.
The 0–2 Year Growth Path (Simple)
Explorer → Contributor → Senior/Mentor → Team Leader → Strategist
Each stage maps to clear skills, targets, and behaviours—master one stage, then move up. Highlights from the roadmap:
- 0–4 months (Explorer → Contributor): basics of pitch, day plans, note-taking; finish training; be on time; shadow seniors; ask for feedback.
- 4–8 months (Strong Contributor): closing and objection handling; better conversion; weekly plans; build pipeline; share learnings.
- 8–12 months (Senior & Mentor): coach new joiners; venue/client strategy; basic reporting; act as a role model.
- 12–18 months (Team Leader): team planning, daily huddles, performance tracking; lower attrition; higher average ticket size.
- 18–24 months (Strategist/Business Head): forecasting, budgeting, partnerships; mini P&L; launch a new channel or client.
Learning Through Sport: Simple Analogies, Strong Habits
We used relatable sports analogies to make skills stick:
- Listening = reading the game (adjust after 2 balls).
- Handling objections = bowling variations (change pace, same goal).
- Pipeline = net practice (daily reps make match day easier).
- Follow-up = fitness and recovery (consistency beats flash).
- Team play = smart passing (assist, cover, celebrate wins).
What Participants Did in the Room
- Took part in icebreakers that connected field realities to growth.
- Mapped their 2-year personal roadmap—with 2–3 core skills, a number target, and a mentor for each stage.
- Captured their roadmap on their phones to track progress over time.
- Came from rich, diverse backgrounds across UP, Maharashtra, Andhra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka, including many with MBAs and engineering degrees.
A Simple System to Keep Winning
We closed with a lightweight execution rhythm:
- Daily habits → Weekly targets → Monthly review
- Track five basics: Calls/Visits, Meetings, Demos, Closures, Referrals
- Friday review: What worked? What changes next week?
- Keep a short habit tracker (paper or phone).
Gratitude & What’s Next- A big thank you to FLOYYD’s founders Vaibhav Bafna and Shruthi Lunia, and to Zoya from HR for their trust and support. More sessions are on the way—stay tuned for advanced modules on team rhythms, ethics, and performance scaling.
