
Retail marketing is all about attracting audiences to your product by applying various offline marketing strategies. We create live events, put up stalls, display our product, and even do canvassing on streets, market places, Inside corporate houses, Malls, etc. Well, this was all going well till the Pandemic hit us in 2020.
Covin 19 brought new norms which clearly said no crowding and social distancing.
The success of Retail depends on crowding and footfalls.
We have seen across the Retail industry how the business has been impacted due to these Covid protocols. The Lockdown ensured that the spreading of the infection was contained but it also brought down the retail sales.
So now the question is what should all the retail marketers do when they are not able to find audiences in shopping malls, Market places, etc.
Friends let me share what I have learned in the last 1 year of this pandemic.
I had wonderful success in retail strategies with 18 years of retail sales experience working with the most successful retail outputs with some fabulous international and National agencies. I have to shift my method of retail to a new method which I feel is still bringing a revolutionary change in retail marketing.
Friends, so let’s ask this fundamental question: where are the customers gone and how to reach them. The audience has not vanished but they are not present in digital space.
So to reach them you have to become digital, Which means applying methods digitally to reach the crowd.
